Google Maps New Features

Have you noticed a few new features using the latest Google Maps v5.9.0?  I certainly have. Here’s what I know:

  • voice and ring tone notification during turn by turn direction just before each turn
  • tab and hold any point of interest on the map to get the address
  • faster overall response

It’s now official for me, Google Maps rock! Thanks Google, for once again made something useful even more useful.
