How To Do a System Restore?

This exercise assumes that you’re trying to do a system restore outside of windows. For Vista or Windows 7 operating systems and that the machine is a major name label:

1. try pressing F11 or F10 to get into the system recovery tool
2. select advance or Microsoft system restore
3. choose the restore point from the given list

If you have a DVD of windows 7 or Vista:

1. Boot from DVD
2. select restore from earlier restore point
3. choose the restore point from the given list
